Through online and offline contact with Hong Kong youth, 5 interviewees were selected by means of targeted sampling, and relevant information is shown in Table 2.1. The five young people have participated in the protests to varying degrees. Two of them have ceased to participate in the demonstrations, and the other three are still closely involved. The choice of different types of interviewees is beneficial to obtain more comprehensive information and draw more objective conclusions.
