Research Method（old idea）

In terms of secondary research, I have read a lot of relevant literature, such as Feminism and Youth Culture, Postmodernism and Popular Culture, etc. Although I haven’t finished all the reading, I have learned some useful knowledge that can be used in the research process

For primary research，I mainly want to choose the methods of interview and observation. In-depth interview to explore the real subjective psychological activities of girls in subculture fashion circle, and observation makes up for the disadvantages of interview.

It’s a little bit difficult to find the right interviewees, because I’m not in the subculture community. As an outsider, I can’t directly contact the girl who loves subculture or whose style is not mainstream. I need to search the Internet and ask if there is a suitable person among my friends. And if I want to really study these girls in depth, I have to find a way to gain their trust in conversation, so that they can open their hearts to me. Besides，I have to pay attention not to offend them.
